A new feature for the ASA Georgia Chapter members will be an online “Ask the Attorney” session presented by Ben Shapiro with Baker Donelson! This was a regular event at our monthly meetings, but now we plan to offer this membership benefit to all of our members in the comfort of their office or in the field by using a smart phone. We will be collecting questions for Ben and then presenting the answers live online! The “Ask the Attorney” sessions will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am. At each session Ben will not only address your questions but he will also discuss a hot topic affecting subcontractors.

Below is a testimonial from our first “Ask the Attorney” session.
Mr. Thomas
I wanted to thank you and Mr. Shaprio for taking the time and hosting the “Ask the Attorney” session today.
The insight that you provided gave Tek-Rail some additional ideas on how to better position ourselves during contract negotiation; moreover, your webinar is a much needed advancement towards the education needed to bridge the gap of expectation and miscommunication between General Contractors and Subcontractors.
It was refreshing to hear from a legal expert who can see many sides to the obstacles that lie before us in today’s risk adverse and liability evasive industry.
I look forward to future “Ask the Attorney” sessions.
Thank you,
David Mullins
